However, it is rare to find a job posted in Spanish, or to see anything other than English as a requirement. Sometimes it is beneficial to know two languages, but it is not mandatory.

Years ago it would be impossible to have a good conversation with someone over the internet because not everyone had broadband internet. The quality of video in Skype has improved over the years. Not as quite good as a studio camera, however, you shouldn’t notice the difference between being in a crowded school, or on your computer with no-one else around.
